Last week, I shared my time management process. It's an amalgamation of different techniques because that's what I've found works best for me. One of the questions I often get asked when discussing time management is prioritisation.

I deliver webinars and in-person time management training. Prioritisation is a common challenge many folks face.

Most people are busy, and their jobs are so demanding, or they run their own businesses, that everything feels important and urgent. So, how can they prioritise?

There is no magic bullet.

I can't give you an absolute answer because it's a personal choice based on your exact circumstances, environment, values and personality.

I can share what works for me as a working mother. I live overseas and have aging/ailing parents in my home country, and my oldest child has recently moved to our home country.

I run my own company and consult for other companies. On the side, I write novels and try to look after my health. Oh, and I've been on an executive board for a women's networking association for the past two years.
