What are values?

Values are the standard for which we hold ourselves accountable.

If I say that I value exercise, but I don’t do any physical activity, there is a disconnect. People will hold different standards as being more critical.

For example, autonomy versus compliance. Neither is inherently good or bad. Which one we value will be determined…
